I’m sure Rose has at some point in his life called people big nose, fat cunt, ginger wanker etc but when a reference to black is made to him and others like him the toys come out the pram. Pot calling the kettle black, excuse the pun. Surely when you are being paid handsomely you should try and take it in your stride. Fucking cry babies people in general and players nowadays.

Things shouted these days are very rarely racist for two particular reasons one being fans are not inherently racist and in any case people have learned what is unacceptable.
Having spent my formative years in the Chicken Run my experience was any disliked opposition player would have a particular physical characteristic mentioned when being shouted at. Take Matt Letissier and his big nose as an example. If a black player got picked on and his colour was mentioned the comment was not made by a racist but in those days a player's colour was thought to be fair game. We've all moved on and today it is verboten and so rare that if it is shouted I reckon it is meant as a deliberate racial slur.

It gets more focus when it happens in an England game with everyone watching it.
Though I see a Derby player was abused by a Brentford fan after he was subbed.
And a Wigan player was abused on twitter for being involved in a late equaliser at Bristol City.

I’m just saying the media seem to be really hyping racism as if it’s worse than ever, but the truth is it’s not. It’s all got more hysterical since 2016 Brexit/Trump.

Certainly not in football.
As was made clear in all the tributes to Cyrille Regis when he died for example.
It’s still ludicrous that it goes on at all though.

I reckon there’s a lot less racism about these days. I grew up in the 70s and you could tell a change was going on, even back then. A lot of kids were embarrassed by some of the things their parents or grandparents would say.
The media gives the impression it’s worse than ever, but that’s bollocks.
It reminds me of the stat in Bowling For Columbine. Roughly, between 1960 and 2000, violent crime in the USA was down by 30%, whereas in the same time period, the media reporting of violent crimes was up 600%.
Perspective is being warped.
Is it deliberate?

Last bit of racism I’ve seen at football was at the LS against Spurs in the cup as it happens. Queuing to go through security about three or four blokes singing ‘We’ll be running round Tottenham.....’
Old fella tries to grab hold of one of them, I think he wanted to clump him, tells the steward he is Jewish and the ‘erbert needs to be arrested as the song is offensive, steward not interested. All this happening while I’m walking in with a Spurs mate.....
So my original point still stands. Maybe Rose wants to have a word with his own fans first.

Racist abuse in the ground should see people banned.
If incidents continue in grounds or are widespread racist chanting (very rare these days in English grounds) clubs should be held to account with stands or whole grounds closed to those fans.
What is the relevance of the posting regarding a Chinese kid?
Are you saying the FA should be scrutinising the social media history of everyone who steps into the ground?

what was the result of the bloke who filmed the idiot at the LS having a picture of a fat Chinese kid on his old Twitter account and him writing "DVD, DVD" ? you still haven't said what you want done, what punishment should clubs get for random cunts shouting something out? three year bans have been handed out for quite a while going back to the old ground, what else do you want done?
